After the great Cub camp and this next weekends Scout sailing adventure comes the exciting AGM where you can enjoy a cuppa tea and support the incredible efforts of our Scout and Cub leaders. Just turn up to say thanks a million would be good. We cannot function without these nights- so leave the box and surprise us all !
thanks
Dave.

I’d like to thank everyone to came on this weekend’s pack camp at Bentley Copse. Judging by the feedback sheets, the Cubs had a great time and are all ready and raring to go to the District Camp in a few weeks.
While on camp, we invested all of the new Cubs we had with us – see the pictures below.
I’d also like to thank Mike Eagle – the new East Guildford District Commissioner for dropping in on Saturday afternoon and for Geoff Wright for coming over on Sunday morning to run his assessment. Finally, I’d like to thank Malcolm McKee from Ashstead Scouts for staying over and teaching us all a few bushcraft skills.

The time of year has arrived again to enjoy the 2012 AGM – it is at the Scout HQ in Village Way at 8.15pm after the St Nic’s cub meeting. We have a particularly active year and the outlook is even better. If you can get along and meet the team behind our successful Scout Group please do. We could do with a few extra parents on the committee ( who meet just 4 times a year ) to see that we give a balance of programme and activity – not tricky. If you’ve read this well done.
Thanks

For the Cubs going on the Pack Camp in 2 weeks, if you or your parents have any questions about Camp – what we’ll be doing, what to take (or not take), or anything else – then I’ll be available at the end of both Cub meetings this week to answer them.
Oh, and if you haven’t returned your form and money, please do so this week!
